Car Bombs?

3 Car Bombs later, it was a big mess.
Saturday for St Patty's day we went to the bar with some friends. We went to the Red Door and Fremont followed by the Triangle in Fremont. We drank a lot of Guiness and had a lot of car bombs.

Stewie took my place on Sunday morning by sleeping on my pillow with Rob.

Then... I got productive and made carrot cake muffins.

So we leave on vacation tomorrow at 2. This morning I got an email from the woman who has been helping us out at Summer In Italy. Apparently there is some construction going on at the vlla that we rented and they were worried that we would have a noisy stay. They offered that we either chance it or we can trade in for another villa. So now we have another villa, same price.

Instead of this view:

Well get this one:

Expect a FULL report when we get back!

The best time of the year

It's the best time of the year. The NCAA Men's college basketball tournament. I've loved following for as long as I can remember. I'm sporting the tshirt that I stole from my husband that says "Don't bother me, I'm watching the game." and wearing it at work to remind people not to bother me because I am either 1. watching the games or 2. listening to the games.
In other news, In one week we'll be just landing in Rome! We are so excited. We both need a vacation so bad. I'll be starting a new job as soon as I get back and if you want more details on that just email me and I will happily tell you what is changing, so needless to say everything is so busy. My allergies are killing me and I just want to see the sun and relax.
As for knitting projects, I'm working on a hat and getting ready to start a shirt. I'll update with pictures this weekend.
I say "Go Zags!" but I actually have Florida winning the tourney this year.

Another Baby Sweater

Another Baby Sweater is complete and ready to go in the mail this weekend. This time it was the Classic Knit Baby Cardigan. For our friends who are expecting a boy in March.

Pattern:
Free Pattern from Michaels.
Yarn: I'm not sure. A cheap acrylic yarn from Joann's.
Needles: US 8 Knit Picks Options, 32"
Started: Feb 1, 2007
Completed: March 3, 2007
Notes: It's not as cute as the original Trellis that I wanted to make. But, I had to start somewhere.

Notice the cute Fish buttons? I also made two matching hats. 1 large and 1 small.

Addition to my yarn station

Rob made me a really nice shelf today. It's not totally set up yet, but it's really cute. Yes it does look similar to the printer shelf. And please don't say anything about the fact that all the shelves look like a box. I already said it and I think his feelings were hurt. At any rate, enjoy the picture of the wonderful job he did. Thanks Rob for trying to keep me organized.
