Significant progress and development continues with the basement playroom remodel this weekend.

This weekend we have some amazing weather, and we are determined to squeeze in just about all we can. Saturday made for a great morning at Jefferson Park, where we enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast and watched the kids' egg hunt.
Also some great mountain and city views!
Last weekend while Allison had a brief visit to Portland (our 2nd favorite city in the Pacific Northwest), Dad and Josie hit the town for some good times! In between all the quality time lounging at home, we rode the bus to the Children's Museum and enjoyed some fun in the neighborhood.
Today at Alpental it was difficult... to see. But the 12+ inches of fresh powder in the last 24hrs (on top of the recent feet of snow) sure was great...
We have recently been feeling the pinch in our HHR for adults and car seats. After much research, the smallest and best match for us for three rows of seats in our price range was clearly the Mazda 5. Fortunately, this turned out to be a great time to buy a car. And it even fits nicely in our cozy garage!
